Picture Framing
At Tempole we are currently manufacturing contemporary picture frame mouldings, squares and deep rebate profiles made from Obeche; one of the most popular and trusted timbers used in the industry. These mouldings are available as bare wood, black, white and in various wood tones.
We also manufacture canvas stretcher bars and artist surfaces, our stretcher bars made from tropical hardwoods, 25mm with a 8mm lip which gives the necessary clearance between the canvas and the underlying stretcher frame.
With over 27 years in the picture framing business at Tempole we can guarantee the finest quality demanded in the framing industry.
All timbers used in our products are sourced from sustainable and well managed forests and are kiln dried before processing.

Our picture framing workshop is headed by Michael Lawrence GCF (Guild Commended Framer).
Michael is dedicated to custom picture framing and as a Guild Commended Framer he ensures that you get not only the best advice but also the highest quality of workmanship.
As bespoke picture framers we also offer a wide range of quality services specialising in original artwork, prints,fabric art (including cross-stitch and tapestries), medals, box framing and other more unusual frames.
We stock conservation glass that offers protection from harmful ultra violet rays, and non-reflective glass that gives viewing that is uninterupted by distracting reflections. All our mount boards are of a conservation or museum specification giving total peace of mind that your artwork is being protected for future generations.
